Links that Caught My Eye
The week's links that I clicked, read and want to share
I remember conversations with my beloved dad when articles, about the upcoming book, on the life of Henrietta Lacks first appeared. Another story of people of color being taken advantage of, is there a corner where deception and wrongs did not occur? And yet, it is a blessing that these stories surface because learning happens, wrongs can be addressed and reparations made. I am ready to watch the HBO movie, The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks starring Rene Elise Goldsberry, of Hamilton & The Good Wife fame and Oprah Winfrey. Watch the trailer.
There is much in the marketplace, conferences, books and relatives with advise for Christian singles on how to be ready...worthy... available/not too available for marriage. It's been a minute since I've been single but to me Allison Meggars is on point.
Cuteness Overload, these girls will make you smile
And, you probably heard about the terminally ill author who wrote a dating profile for her husband. Amy Krouse Rosenthal died this week and if you have not read You May Want to Marry My Husband, you will probably need a tissue for this one, you will feel your heart for this beyond beautiful expression of love
Enjoy & God Bless
